Kasi Kirkpatrick
Born and raised in Odessa, Texas, Kasi Kirkpatrick has always believed in her natural connection to movement. Trained in multiple dance styles as well as 200hr Yoga Teaching certification, Kasi strives to project an invigorating and positive performance to whoever her audience may be.
Kasi received her BA in dance in 2011 at Texas Woman’s University where she was awarded
“Performer of the Year” scholarship as an undergraduate. She also toured and performed with dance company CholoRock Dance Theatre, holding the position of principle dancer.
Kasi moved to Los Angeles CA in 2013 where her choreography and performances have been featured in numerous music videos, commercials, films, award and TV shows.
Some notable credits include: Seth Myers Show, Grammys Press Play, Direct TV, Disney Descendants, Schick Extreme Razor, Buzzfeed, Pharrell Williams, Alaina Castillo, Son Little, Gavin Turek, and Snoh Aalegra. The most memorable was when she became a GIF on instagram!
Kasi was also selected as “Artist on the Rise” teaching at the remarkable Movement Lifestyle Dance studio in Los Angeles for a month residency. Kasi has created her own company entitled “WIDDA K PRODUCTIONS” which specializes in unique choreography, film, wardrobe, and post production.
Her performances have been described as “Arythmic and most Dynamic” and her work “Having great sense of musicality, attack and nuance of phrasing”. Kasi describes and defines her movement by blending the forms and details of post Modern, fused with the pulsating energy of Tap, Jazz and funk styles.
